If you need to register your vehicle or boat, the state Division of Motor Vehicle and Drivers Licensing has offices throughout the region.

Utility service is generally available the next day for orders placed by 2 p.m. Service is connected Monday through Friday. Southwestern Bell provides service in two business days. In Springfield, trash pickup is handled by private companies rather than by the city. Please visit the individual community profiles for utility company listings.
New customers may obtain phone service by calling Southwestern Bell at 1-800-464-7928. Orders can be placed by phone between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 11 p.m. Sunday, except holidays.
In the Springfield market, 22 AM and FM radio stations play a variety of formats from all-talk AM radio to alternative rock FM outlets for adult contemporary and country.
